Stema comunei Berzovia, potrivit anexei nr. 1.2, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat de trei fascii: una centrală lată, roşie; două înguste pe magini, de argint. În câmpul superior, în partea dreaptă, pe fond albastru, se află un coif român, de argint. În câmpul superior, în partea stângă, pe fond roşu, se află un clopot terminat cu o cruce treflată, totul de aur. În câmpul inferior, pe fond albastru, este plasat un butoi de argint, văzut din faţă, pe care este desenat un strugure, însoţit de două frunze de viţă-de-vie, de culoare naturală. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate

Coiful face aluzie la efigiile române descoperite în zonă, unde au staţionat legiunile române a III-a Flavia Felix şi a XIII-a Gemina. Clopotul simbolizează lăcaşele de cult care se află în cele trei sate ale localităţii. Butoiul face referire la ocupaţia tradiţională, cultivarea viţei-de-vie şi producerea vinului. Fasciile, de argint şi roşie, sunt imaginea metaforică a ocupaţiei tradiţionale din antichitate, arderea minereului. Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
