Română: Descrierea stemei:

Stema comunei Brebu, potrivit anexei nr. 1.3, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, împărţit în două.În primul câmp, pe fond albastru, pe mijloc, se află o cruce de aur cu braţele egale, flancată în stânga şi în dreapta de câte o albină, de argint.În câmpul al doilea, pe fond argintiu, se află două mere unite printr-o crenguţă cu două frunze, totul conceput simetric şi colorat în roşu.Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate:

Crucea este imaginea simbolică a spiritualităţii creştine, materializată prin prezenţa în localitate a unui ansamblu monahal.Albinele semnifică hărnicia locuitorilor zonei.Merele simbolizează livezile întinse.Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
