Summary[edit]

Description This is a General Motors Electro-Motive Division GP9 that was built in April 1954 and first saw service as Union Pacific Railroad # 185. It has also been Amtrak # 764, Maine Eastern Railroad # 764, Morristown & Erie Railroad # 764, and is currently RR Power Leasing # 764 (initials RRPX). The unit is here delivering and dropping off a single carload of lumber for the Strasburg Railroad in Strasburg, Pennsylvania, USA. It is still sporting a Maine Eastern Railroad paint job.
