Public domain According to the Romanian Law on Copyright and Neighboring Rights Law no. 8/1996 of March 14, 1996 with further amendments Chapter 3 Article 9 the following documents shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright:

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.

Română: Descrierea stemei:

Scut scartelat; în cartierul din stînga sus, în cîmp roșu, un țăran fugind spre dreapta redat în argintiu; în cartierul din dreapta sus, în cîmp albastru, o roată dințată aurie avînd în centru profilul unei fabrici cu două coșuri fumegînde și un turn de termocentrală, toate argintii; în cartierul din stînga jos, în cîmp albastru, o vioară argintie și o carte deschisă albă, precum și un luceafăr auriu; în cartierul din dreapta jos, în cîmp roșu, un snop de grîu de culoare aurie așezat pe o coasă argintie.

În partea centrală a stemei este așezat un scut mai mic avînd stema Republicii Socialiste România, pe un fond format în partea stîngă de steagul partidului, iar în dreapta de steagul țării.

Denumirea județului este înscrisă cu litere de aur pe o eșarfă roșie, în afara scutului și anume la baza acestuia.
