Public domain According to the Romanian Law on Copyright and Neighboring Rights Law no. 8/1996 of March 14, 1996 with further amendments Chapter 3 Article 9 the following documents shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright:

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.

Română: Descrierea stemei:

Scut scartelat; în cartierul din stînga sus, în cîmp albastru, o cetate acoperită cu două turnuri redată în argintiu și avînd deasupra un soare și o semilună, despărțite de patru stele, totul în auriu; în cartierul din dreapta sus, trei dungi verticale roșii, alternate cu alte trei negre, peste care se suprapune profilul unui furnal de tip vechi în argintiu; în cartierul din stînga jos; trei dungi verticale roșii, alternate cu trei negre, peste care se suprapun două ciocane încrucișate, în argintiu; în cartierul din dreapta jos, în cîmp albastru, doi brazi încadrînd un izvor de apă minerală, totul în argintiu.

În partea centrală a stemei este așezat un scut mai mic avînd stema Republicii Socialiste România, pe un fond format în partea stîngă de steagul partidului, iar în dreapta de steagul țării.

Denumirea județului este înscrisă cu litere de aur pe o eșarfă roșie, în afara scutului și anume la baza acestuia.
