Public domain According to the Romanian Law on Copyright and Neighboring Rights Law no. 8/1996 of March 14, 1996 with further amendments Chapter 3 Article 9 the following documents shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright:

  • The photographs of letters, deeds, documents of any kind, technical drawings and other similar papers shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.

Română: Descrierea stemei:

Scut tăiat; cîmpul superior despicat; în cartierul din stînga, în cîmp albastru, un snop de grîu auriu așezat pe o roată dințată argintie; în cartierul din dreapta, în cîmp roșu, un profil de uzină chimică și o turlă de sondă, toate argintii; în cartierul inferior, în cîmp verde, un stejar auriu cu frunze și ghindă verzi, flancat la stînga și la dreapta de două oi în argintiu.

În partea centrală a stemei este așezat un scut mai mic avînd stema Republicii Socialiste România, pe un fond format în partea stîngă de steagul partidului, iar în dreapta de steagul țării.

Denumirea județului este înscrisă cu litere de aur pe o eșarfă roșie, în afara scutului și anume la baza acestuia.
