English: Richard Sackville, by William Larkin, 1613. Sir Roy Strong said this "portrait can lay claim to being perhaps the most spectacular costume piece of the age" (FMR #61, April 1993). Strong suggests the clothing was worn for the 1613 wedding of James I's daughter Elizabeth of Bohemia.
