Summary[edit]

Description

An IAEA Radiation Monitoring Technician conducts a functional test on a portable photon dose rate meter using a sealed radioactive source to confirm the meter responds to the source. The electronics and background response are also checked to confirm the meter is operational and ready for measurements.
