This big tree fell probably just a few hours before I came to the Ridge walking track in Main Range national park Southern Queensland It was very impressive! - the falling tree took down everything around, so all upper rainforest levels including the canopy was on the ground. You could find a lot of interesting plans (ferns, orchids...) here, what normally would be far up in the trees. It's a pity the photo cannot show the scale of the debris. Some one should be in the frame, but I was the only crazy there on my own, as it was raining! It is two stitched shots and Orton processing in PS for softer effect.
