Description
Español: Ramón Bonifaz. Miniatura del Libro de la Cofradía de los Caballeros de Santiago (1338). Archivo de la Real Cofradía, Catedral de Burgos. El libro, que contiene a la vez las reglas de la cofradía y un armorial, comenzó a redactarse en 1338 y llega hasta finales del siglo XVII. Las primeras miniaturas, entre ellas la del almirante Bonifaz del folio 23 r, corresponden al que Joaquín Yarza Luaces llama Miniaturista de 1338: "El libro de la Real Cofradía de los Caballeros del Santísimo y de Santiago: el primer armorial iluminado", en Libro de la Real Cofradía de los Caballeros del Santísimo y de Santiago, estudios y transcripción de la edición facsimilar, Burgos, Siloé, 2002.
