Description

La ferronnerie est un élément majeur du décor dessiné par Charles Girault, l'architecte du Petit Palais. Si la grille de la porte d’entrée est très connue, les rampes des escaliers intérieurs des deux rotondes méritent aussi l'attention. Ce sont des oeuvres de ferronnerie d'une qualité exceptionnelle, dont le style est assez loin de l'art nouveau, hormis par les détails floraux très raffinés qu'elles recèlent.
