Description
English: The Sri Ranganayaka Swamy Temple is a renowned Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and located in the town of Warangal, Telangana. It is considered one of the most important Vaishnavite shrines in the state and is visited by thousands of devotees every year. The temple is said to have been built during the 13th century by Pratap Rudra. The main deity of the temple is Lord Ranganatha, depicted in a reclining position on the serpent Adisesha.
