Description
English: Throughout history, Birds, especially finches, have played a crucial role in studying evolution. Darwin's Galapagos research revealed significant variations in their beak shapes and sizes linked to diverse diets. This led to his concept of 'natural selection', showcasing how advantageous traits prevail over time. The finches exemplified species' adaptation to distinct ecological niches in isolated settings. ‘Rara Avis’ ventures beyond natural evolution by introducing an element of unpredictability into the equation. It intertwines both natural and artificial algorithms, poised to manifest as the world undergoes significant transition. Charles Darwin might have been intrigued by the velocity of this type of evolution—perhaps even a tad concerned. Yet, he might also have found fascination in drawing parallels between the adaptive prowess of AI systems and the timeless process of natural selection.
