Description
Receipt from Charley's son for 2 sets of harnesses and one Barshear plow "allowed to the Miami Indians by the president of the United States". The treaty of 1818 allowed the proper agent to provide agriculture implements as necessary. Charley's son, or Little Charley, succeeded his father, Charley (Kitunga or Charlow Constant), as chief of the Eel River Miami.
