| Description |
English: Gothic gate to the yard of the so-called "Receptur" at Kronberg im Taunus, Germany. The gate is a remainder of the medieval castle "Westerburg" whose ruins were located at this place before the Receptur was built at the beginning of the 18th century. Above the top of the gate the engraving of the date 1570 can be seen together with the initials "Wo V C" for Wolfgang I. von Kronberg.
Deutsch: Gotisches Spitzbogentor am Eingang des Hofes zur Receptur Kronberg. Es handelt sich um einen Rest der mittelalterlichen Westerburg, auf deren Gelände die Receptur Anfang des 18. Jahrhunderts erbaut wurde. Über der Spitze des Tores erkennt man die Jahreszahl 1570 sowie die Initialen "Wo V C" für Wolfgang I. von Kronberg. |
