English: Bendera, Tanganyika, DR Congo: To help the peacekeepers move more easily while conducting their mission for the protection of civilians, MONUSCO’s Indonesian Battalion has been carrying out since August 4, 2020, rehabilitation works on the local feeder roads in Bendera area, more precisely in Mapanda district. These roads repair works have significantly improved the movement of people and goods in an area where the populations mainly travel by taxi-motorbike. Photo MONUSCO / Force
Français : Bendera, Tanganyika, RDC : Afin de permettre une plus grande facilité de mouvements des casques bleus dans leur mission de protection des civils, le bataillon indonésien de la MONUSCO procède depuis le 4 août 2020, à des travaux de réhabilitation des routes de desserte locale dans la zone de Bendera, plus précisément dans la région de Mapanda. La réfection des routes améliore significativement la circulation des personnes et des biens dans cette zone où les populations se déplacent principalement en taxi-moto. Photo MONUSCO/Force |
