Description
Deutsch: Tonhöhen für rein gestimmte Dur- und Molltonarten im Oktavkreis. Mit den 53 durch Kreismarken bezeichneten Tönen (Außenbereich der Graphik[1]) sind 15 Durtonleitern mit den Quinttönen |cb|gb|...|c| ...|f#|c#| als Grundtönen spielbar, ebenso die 45 parallelen Tonleitern der drei Mollmodi, deren Grundtöne |,ab|,eb|...|,a|...|,d#|,a#| eine kleine Terz tiefer als die Quinttöne liegen. Die Tonleitern im Innenbereich illustrieren exemplarisch die Tonabstände der vier Modi.

  1. ↑ Die Tiefkommata bei den Tonnamen greifen die Bezeichnungen im Eulerschen Tonnetz auf. Zur Betonung der Systematik der Tonnamen werden die Versetzungszeichen # und b statt is und es verwendet, außerdem der Tonname hb für b. Die Farbe der Tonnamen korrespondiert mit jener der Kreismarken.
