Description
English: The GOES-R Ground Segment Project Release Mission Management Upgrade (RMMU) was installed at the NOAA Satellite Operations Facility (NSOF) on April 7, 2014 Operationalization of RMMU was completed the following week. A successful command and telemetry test between the NSOF and Lockheed-Martin spacecraft simulator in Denver, Colo., was conducted and telemetry received with no errors. Harris completed training RMMU and the system was turned over to the Mission Operations Support Team on April 23. The RMMU system supports development of command scripts, processes telemetry and performs mission planning and scheduling.
