Español: Iglesia del Convento de Santa Clara (Sevilla). Retablo situado en el muro del Evangelio, trazado por Juan Martínez Montañés (1621-1626), añadiendo la imagen de la Inmaculada Concepción (1623), madera policromada, apoyada sobre nubes, con dos angelitos y media luna con los cuernos hacia arriba. Es una demostración mas del dominio de Martinez Montañés de la proporción artística y sus conocimientos del naturalismo clasicista. Francisco de Ocampo y Felguera (1633) colabora en su ejecución con un interesante relieve para el ático. |
