La Colecciòn de Retratos de los Presidentes del Coloniaje. The collection of Portraits of the Governors of Chile is in the Museo Histórico Nacional (Chile) and was commissioned by Benjamín Vicuña Mackenna for the 1873 Colonial Exhibition and painted by various artists. It replaces a series of portraits of Chile's colonial governors dating from the colonial era which was destroyed during the wars for independence. [1].
