ביתו של המנהיג הרוחני של העדה, השייח' מואפק טריף שבג'וליס, לרגל חג נבי שועייב של העדה הדרוזית. הוא התקבל על ידי נכבדי העדה ביניהם: ראש מועצת דלית אל-כרמל רפיק חלבי, ראש מועצת עוספיא בהיג' מנסור ומנכ"ל המרכז למורשת הדרוזים מחמוד שנאן.

נפגש הנשיא עם "נשות לוטוס". "לוטוס" היא עמותה הממוקמת בדלית אל כרמל ועוסקת בהשמה של נשים דרוזיות מסורתיות ודתיות בתחומי ההיי-טק. העמותה, בשיתוף קרן פורטלנד ובתמיכת משרד העבודה והרווחה, יזמה תהליך הכשרה של כשנה אליו ממוינות נשים בעלות פוטנציאל להצליח בתפקידי הייטק, כאשר ההכשרה והעסקה שלהן מתקיימת ב"מיקרו האב" מקומי בדלית אל כרמל. במפגש השתתפה מנכ"לית לוטוס מסייא חלבי אלשייך.
