Death of Rev. John B. Wardlaw. Murfreesboro, Tennessee; May 11, 1896. (Special) Rev. John B. Wardlaw, a member of the South Georgia Conference, and father of Miss V. O. Wardlaw, President of Soule College, and Mrs. M. W. Snead, Associate President, after an illness of fourteen months, passed peacefully away on the 9th inst. Funeral services were conducted in the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, by Rev. Green P. Jackson, assisted by Dr. S. W. Speer. The remains were then transferred to Christiansburg, Virginia, and buried by the side of his son, Mr. John B. Wardlaw, Jr.
