Français : « Le soleil s'abaissait derrière les flots ; ses rayons arrivaient comme de longues flèches sur le cœur tout rouge. L'astre s'enfonçait dans la mer à mesure que les battements diminuaient ; à la dernière palpitation, il disparut. », peinture de Richard Burgsthal inspirée du roman Salammbô de Gustave Flaubert, musée Fayet de l'abbaye de Fontfroide, début du XXe siècle.
