Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Sign outside the pub Richard III in Middleham, England owned by the Black Sheep Brewery. The pub is a little over 100 metres from Middleham Castle where Richard III lived as a child. In the view of the photographer, the sign, at first sight, implies that Richard III was a "black sheep", a view promoted by Shakespeare in his play Richard III.
