Deutsch: Moosthenning, Rimbach, Nähe Bergstraße. Katholische Filialkirche St. Nikolaus. Nach Westen ausgerichteter Saalbau mit eingezogenem Chor und Ostturm, im Kern barock, 1895 Langhausvergrößerung und Turm.
Am Übergang des Isarmooses in das tertiäre Hügelland liegt das Dorf Rimbach. Der von seinem aus dem keltischen stammenden Namen weist auf eine lange Besiedlungsgeschichte hin. Der Ortsname bedeutet soviel wie "Bach am Moosrand". Die früheren Bewohner des Ortes dürften einst mit der römischen Kultur in Berührung gekommen sein. Bis zu Beginn der Neuzeit wurde in der Region Weinbau praktiziert. Dessen Spuren finden sich heute noch in der Ausstattung der Kirche. - Der Blick über Rimbach weit ins Isartal auf die am Südufer liegenden Orte Loiching und Teisbach. |
