Description
Deutsch: Ringgau-Netra im nordhessischen Werra-Meißner-Kreis. Der Friedhof der jüdischen Gemeinde außerhalb der Ortslage.

"Der Friedhof der jüdischen Gemeinde Netra wurde in der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts nordwestlich der Straße Netra - Grandenborn als Nachfolgeanlage des Friedhofes in der Nähe des Schulkopfes angelegt. Der älteste Grabstein datiert aus dem Jahr 1855, die jüngste Belegung aus dem Jahr 1938.

Die insgesamt 91 erhaltenen Grabsteine sind in zwei langen, parallel verlaufenden Reihen angeordnet. Besonders interessant ist die Verwendung verschiedener grabmaltypologischer Varianten, die das Selbstverständnis und den Anspruch der zu dieser Zeit im deutschen Reich lebenden jüdischen Bevölkerung widerspiegelt."
