Summary

[edit]
Description
At image left, in brown, running from N to S is Paraguay River. Clear water surface, without vegetation cover, appears in black, like Paraguay-Mirim River´s, wich starts after Paraguay´s 3rd, curve coming from image top. This river was used by Brazilians, coming from Cuiabá during the Paraguayan War, to go around and reconquer Corumbá. All image is inside Pantanal Biome, with riparian vegetation composed by forests, in dark green, and pioners like marshes, cambarazals, paratudals, carandazals, in lighter greens, localized on rivers and water accumulating depressions. We savanna areas, dry in this image, appear in redish brown.
