Description
Deutsch: Großrippel am äußersten Ende im Südwesten der Nordseeinsel Wangerooge. Die Rippel sind bei einer Wanderung als deutlich steil und tief wahrzunehmen.

Am boden der rinnenartigen Vertiefungen sammeln sich die kalkigen Schalen von toten Tieren an. Größere Mengen solcher Schalen an einem Ort nennt man Schill.

Rippel mit 1 bis 2 Meter Höhe [1]und/oder 0,6 bis 30 Metern Abstand zueinander [2]bezeichnet man als Großrippel. Bei mehr als 2 Metern Höhe oder mehr als 30 Meter Länge (Abstand zueinander), spricht man von Riesenrippeln.
