Summary
[edit]DescriptionRiver Kwai bridge 1992-11-06.jpg |
English: [Friday, 6 November 1992] The river crossing made famous by the 1957 Oscar-winning movie “Bridge on the River Kwai.” While the railway from Thailand to Burma (Myanmar) does run alongside the Kwai River at one point, this bridge actually goes over the Mae Klong River (although this segment was renamed Kwai to support the tourism prompted by the movie).
