Summary[edit]

Description
English: The river Wharfe having burst its banks during the December 2015 floods, the flooding seems to have come to a head a couple of hours before the photograph was taken. The bridge is currently closed; not due to structural concern for the bridge but because an embankment wall has collapsed onto the road at the south side of the bridge. Observers to the floods can be seen lining the bridge. Taken on the afternoon of Saturday the 26th of December 2015.
