Text Appearing After Image: Abb. 119. Zähnchenkamm über dem linken Stigma des 2. Stigmensternits einer Galeodes spec. niten sich findende Anordnung in paarigen Gruppen läßt wohl den Schluß zu, daß die Zahmkämme, die den Rand der Sternitfalte über jedem der beiden opi- sthosomalen Stigmenpaare aller Galeodidae besetzen, mit jenen Ctenidien zu homologisieren sind, d. h. aus ihnen als dauernder Besitz der Galeodidcu hervorgegangen sind. Es ist dann allerdings die Umwandlung weicher (Jtenidien in hart chitinisierte, mehr oder minder stumpfer Zähne, die teils sogar mit- einander zu mehrspitzigen verschmelzen können, in wenigstens je einer Quer- reihe anzunehmen, denn unterhalb dieses Zahnkammes stehen noch weiterhin weiche Ctenidien verstreut und ebenso wird die Reihe nach den Seiten zu unregelmäßig und die Zähne hier kleiner und biegsam (Abb. 119). Den Ctenidien des Opisthosoma ähnliche, weiche Gebilde der Kutikula finden wir auf dem Propeltidium und Augenhügel nur bei der Gattung Barrus 9*
