Summary[edit]

Description
English: A burial from the eastern side of Santa Marija Bay in Comino, dating from the third to the fifth century CE (the late Roman period). The body is that of a man and was buried between the split halves of an amphora. Discovered during trenching works in 1912, the body is now displayed at the Gozo Museum of Archaeology in Victoria, Gozo.
