O rosto arredondado com traços de douração tem uma boca pequena e o nariz está ligeiramente deslocado para a esquerda em relação ao centro da face. O queixo, levemente em relevo, não possui sinais de uma barba. As orelhas bem definidas são proporcionais. Os olhos são incrustados em uma armação em bronze, cada um composto por três elementos: duas peças em marfim formando a córnea e um disco em ébano como íris. As extremidades das pupilas foram pintadas em vermelho para conferir maior realismo ao rosto. As sobrancelhas e a pintura da maquiagem foram pintadas em preto. Uma linha vermelha contorna a parte superior do rosto, de orelha a orelha, delimitando a marca do toucado tripartite que possui aproximadamente oito listras pintadas em vermelho diretamente sobre a madeira. Embora ligeiramente enegrecido, principalmente na parte superior do toucado, não possui indícios de betume ou gesso.
