IFF 4 lists twenty nine plates from 'Les Artistes Contemporains', 6th year, published by Goupil et Vibert, 1851. Plate 112 is listed with the title 'Route de Caen', after Bonington. See 1889,0608.477 for comment on the series, where Lugt's summary and dating of the publication is referred to, and according to which Plate 112 was published in the series in 1850 (Lugt 36 b). |
