À gauche : L'église Saint-James, 60, promenade du Portage
« La paroisse anglicane Saint-James, fondée en 1823, est la première de toute la région des deux rives de la rivière des Outaouais. L'église actuelle date de 1901 et elle succède aux deux premières, brûlées en 1865 et en 1900. Lieu de culte de la plupart des premiers colons anglophones de Hull, l'église est, depuis 1977, celui de la communauté chrétienne multiethnique de langue française, Saint-Bernard-de-Clairvaux. Centre communautaire très actif, l'église Saint-James participe à la revitalisation de la promenade du Portage par ses activités religieuses, communautaires et culturelles. » – museedelhistoire.ca
