Français : Autres titres : Rue De Léry, Québec, Côte de Léry, Québec, Hope Street, Québec. Description : Bien que son nom date du Régime français, la rue Sainte-Famille a aussi été connue pendant un certain temps, aux 18e et 19e siècles, sous les vocables de rue ou côte De Léry et Hope Street. De Léry fait référence à l'ingénieur militaire Chaussegros de Léry qui, au 18e siècle, habite la rue Sainte-Famille où il a acheté un terrain. Pour ce qui est de Hope Street, ce nom vient de la porte Hope construite en 1786 au pied de la rue de la Sainte-Famille et démolie en 1871. Henry Hope (après 1746-1789) est lieutenant-gouverneur de la province de Québec de 1785 à 1789, et commandant de la ville de Québec en 1785.
