Description
Polski: Ruiny zamku w Solcu nad Wisłą

Wybudowanie zamku w Solcu przypisuje się Kazimierzowi Wielkiemu po lokacji miasta 1w 1370 r. W XV w. zamek został rozbudowany,a w 1412 r. przebywał tu król Władysław Jagiełło. W latach 1604-27 zamek został gruntownie przebudowany przez Krzysztofa księcia Zbarskiego. Po zniszczeniach potopu szwedzkiego zamek odbudowano około roku 1780,lecz z lustracji z 1789 wynika,że nie dbano o przestarzałe mury i ziemne umocnienia. W XIX w. posiadał on jeszcze zadaszenie,

lecz w końcu opuszczony i powoli ulegał zniszczeniu.
