Description
Русский: Курильский бобтейл — порода кошек, выведенная в конце XX века в России на основе аборигенных кошек Курильских островов. Визитной карточкой является короткий загнутый хвост, напоминающий пушистый помпон. Из-за отсутствия нормального хвоста их тело сбалансировано увеличенными задними лапами. Они длиннее передних лап и мощнее, чем у кошек других пород, что позволяет курильским бобтейлам совершать длинные, высокие прыжки. Являются отличными рыболовами, настоящими охотниками, крысоловами.
