Description A U.S. Navy Grumman S-2E Tracker (BuNo 149866) of Antisubmarine Squadron VS-31 "Topcats" in flight with its magnetic anomaly detection (MAD) boom and radar extended. VS-31 was assigned to Carrier Anti-Submarine Air Group 52 (CVSG-52) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Wasp (CVS-18).
