Description
English: SAAB SF 37 Viggen ("Bolt", alternatively vigg, "Tufted duck") jet fighter displayed at the Museum of Aviation in Košice, Slovakia. Manufactured by the Swedish aviation company Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget (SAAB) between 1970 and 1990, it was solely part of the inventory of the Swedish Air Force. The preserved specimen shown here is a former Swedish Air Force reconnaissance SAAB Viggen (the SF 37 code denoted a variant with equipment for photographic reconnaissance).
Slovenčina: Prúdová stíhačka SAAB SF 37 Viggen ("Blesk", resp. vigg, "Chochlačka") vystavená v Múzeu letectva v Košiciach, Slovensko. Vyrábaná švédskou spoločnosťou Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget (SAAB) v rokoch 1970-1990, bola súčasťou výlučne švédskych vzdušných síl. Tu vystavený zachovaný exemplár je bývalý prieskumný SAAB Viggen švédskych vzdušných síl (označenie SF 37 sa používalo pre variant vybavený zariadeniami pre fotografický prieskum).
