Description
English: Salangen Church (Norwegian: Salangen kirke), a parish church of the Church of Norway in the village of Sjøvegan in Salangen Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway.
  • The white concrete church with wood accents was built in a long church style in 1981 using plans drawn up by the architect Harald Hille. The church seats about 420 people.
  • Cemetery/church yard with grave markers, etc.
  • Photo taken on a spring evening in May 2022 with view towards the fjord and surrounding landscape, with the sun shining from a blue sky, and snow on the ground.
