Summary[edit]

Description
English: A leftover phone booth with no pay phone inside at the Southbound Nash County Rest Area along Interstate 95 in North Carolina. Though you can't see it in this shot, the phone booth was owned by Sprint, and uses their 1987 to August 2005 corporate logo, which gives you an idea of when the pay phone was removed from the booth. One might wonder if Sprint's original proposal was to replaced the phone with a new one featuring a telecommunication device for the deaf, or a paid internet terminal.
