031216-N-0502P-899 Due to their cumbersome loads and the icy conditions, SEAL team candidates found their descent from the mountain range just as difficult as the ascent. During this final phase of SEAL Qualifications Training candidates are taught how to use each piece of gear (such as skis and cramp-ons) until using it becomes second-nature, allowing them to fully focus on their mission.
