Summary[edit]

Description
English: The photomicrograph shows a porous surface of zinc selenide (ZnSe). Pores sprout across the sample surface with different degrees of porosity, the diameter and depth of penetration. This material can be used in the creation of devices shortwave semiconductor electronics, information display systems, is a promising material for LED electronics. Microphotograph obtained with a scanning electron microscope JSM-649.
