| Description |
English: A new rail connection to the timetable change. The Südostbahn (SOB) now runs between Bern and Chur. The line is called IR35. But as usual with the SOB, there is also an additional name. In addition to the "Voralpen-Express" and "Treno Gottardo", now the "Aare Linth". Mostly with the new Traverso and some in combination with Flirt 1-3, depending on the route. The SBB is also involved. With engine drivers on certain routes and trains during rush hour. The Traverso are not only labeled with Südostbahn, it also says SBB CFF FFS. Here is a double composition with a Flirt 3 at the head of the train that only runs to Zurich, and at the back a traverso to Bern. The disadvantage of this composition is that there are two bistro compartments with vending machines in the Traverso, nothing in the front train. So if you don't need coffee but prefer more space, get in at the front train. The Traverso was already well used in Chur, that could be tight between Zurich and Bern. Switzerland, December 12, 2021.
