English: Experimental music group SOUNDWALK COLLECTIVE on stage alongside guest musicians including PATTI SMITH performing "Correspondences" project in Mexico City.
Español: Este viernes dio inicio la sexta edición de “Tiempo de Mujeres. Festival por la Igualdad 2024”, iniciativa de la Secretaría de Cultura de la Ciudad de México, con la presentación en el Teatro de la Ciudad Esperanza Iris de “Correspondences”, un performance de la poeta y compositora estadounidense Patti Smith y el proyecto Soundwalk Collective, integrado por Stephan Crasneanscki y Simone Merli, en el marco del 20 aniversario del Festival MUTEK MX.

“Correspondences”, que ha recorrido el mundo en formato de exposición inmersiva, es el resultado de 10 años de trabajo en los que Crasneanscki se dedicó a grabar los sonidos, componer la música e intercambiar ideas con Smith. Durante más de una hora y ante un Teatro de la Ciudad con lleno total, Smith y Soundwalk Collective cautivaron y llevaron al público por un viaje sin igual e inmersivo en el que dialogan la música, la poesía sonora y la imagen.
