Summary[edit]

Description
English: Medieval (gothic) wooden sculpture of Saint Olav (Olaf II of Norway, c. 995 – 29 July 1030), on display in the Norwegian Church Art Exhibition at the University Museum of Bergen, Norway:
  • Saint Olav from Seim Church in Nordhordland, Norway, c. 1250: The enthroned king has, as usual, carried a battle axe in his right hand.
