Description
English: Spearheading the Save Soil Movement, Sadhguru, the founder of Isha Foundation, arrived at INS Valsura, Jamnagar on 29 May 2022. After traversing 20,000 kms that spanned over 70 days and saw him transiting through 25 countries on his motorcycle, Sadhguru arrived at Jamnagar, Gujarat for the final leg of his journey to be undertaken in India. Sadhguru interacted with Naval personnel/ families and raised awareness on the growing threat of impending 'Soil Extinction' besides highlighting the need to “Save Soil”. Sadhguru also visited 'Amiya Bagh' that houses 1200 mango trees and appreciated the efforts taken by the Indian Navy in preservation of soil and Green Initiatives. He planted two Ashoka trees and gifted 75 fruit saplings to school children as part of celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav with an underlying message to plant these trees today for a better tomorrow
