Italiano: Saldo naturale e saldo migratorio - Italia (1862-2014).

- Dal 1910 al 1971 l'Italia ha avuto un saldo naturale positivo di circa 400.000 unità, a cui seguì un rapido crollo dal 1973; - L'emigrazione verso gli Stati Uniti è stata frenata dal 1921 a causa dell'"Emergency Migration Act" emanato appositamente dal Congresso degli Stati Uniti per limitare l'immigrazione da paesi cattolici e, in particolare, dall'Italia e dall'Irlanda; - Fino al 1992, il saldo naturale è stato positivo; dal 2009 vi è un ulteriore rapido declino;

- Dal 2002 il saldo migratorio è nettamente positivo a causa dell'arrivo di molti immigrati provenienti dai Balcani e dal medio-oriente prima e dall'Africa poi.
