Description
Svenska: Salsta slott, Riddarsalen eller Stora salen i övervåningen, inredd vid början av 1700-talet med stuckarbeten i taket av Giuseppe Marchi. Ryttarporträtten visar Nils Bielke den yngres (1644-1716) svärfar Gustaf Horn (1592-1657). Giuseppe Marchi var en italiensk stuckatör, som var verksam i Sverige i slutet av 1600-talet och början av 1700-talet. Övervåningen blev färdig först omkring år 1700. Salen har högt placerade fönster. I Riddarsalen finns den ursprungliga gyllenläderstapeten i mörkt rött och guld med inslag av textilludd och spetsbågiga valvkappor kvar. Takstuckaturerna stämmer nära överens med motsvarigheterna i Karl XI:s galleri på Stockholms slott och förebilden finns i Versailles.
